Hi, I’m Heather Millett and I have always loved Disney ever since I was a little girl.

I went to Walt Disney World for the first time when I was 8 years old and I didn’t go back until my Senior trip in High School. Once I graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree, I went to Disney World a few times and that love continued to grow. It wasn’t until we took a trip with my four year old daughter that the love of Disney became a passion, or addiction!  My addiction has even poured into our home with some Disney themed rooms!

“What ever you do, do it well. Do it so well that when people see you do it they will want to come back and see you do it again and they will want to bring others and show them how well you do what you do.”

Walt Disney World

When we took our four year old daughter to Walt Disney World in 2013 for the first time she could remember (we took her at age 1 too), I planned every single detail. I knew what rides we were going to ride in order and which characters we were going to see, as well as planning out all of our dining reservations and special packages such as the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique and My Perfectly Princess Tea Party. I had so much fun planning the trip, that I had to go back soon, just so I could begin planning again! So we booked a trip for 2014, however, with that trip, along came a 4 month old baby! So I have experience being one of those people who would get comments made to them such as “you brought a baby to Disney World”.   Yes I did, and I have no regrets! It was a different trip than the year before, but it was still magical with a 5 year old! I have been to the majority of character meals at Walt Disney World and almost anything that involves princesses! I’ve used the Dining Plan many times and have stayed at Value, Moderate, and Deluxe Resorts.

I was always a self-proclaimed “non-runner”, but soon after our trip in 2014, I watched the promotional video for the Disney Princess Half Marathon, and I began training soon after! In 2015 along with college friends, I completed my first runDisney event at the Princess Half Marathon and now I have a new addiction alongside Disney, runDisney! I plan to attempt the Glass Slipper Challenge in 2016 and hope to have a coast-to-coast medal one day.
